This was funny! I see you've gotten some flak for the winner, but I'm glad Jif won--I feel compelled to buy that brand-and so should everyone :)-because they buy my (farmer) uncle's peanuts. I need to stop looking at your site when I'm hungry--now I'm STARVING!

Vanessa:
I have been eating PB for many years, and I am shocked that you excluded the two best - Teddy's and Smuckers. It scares me to no end that you would choose a nasty, chemically-induced homoginized and over-sweetened brand that uses animal by-products to produce the artifical "creamyness" as your favorite. For shame. Sure, they require a bit of effort to mix the oils with the meaty nut paste, but mother nature doesn't serve quality and purity like an individually-wrapped slice of American cheese. Ick.

Thanks Duane- it was my pleasure to spread the peanut butter gospel!
And lbCake and Park City Utah - thanks again for your tasting expertise. Hummus is a great idea for next time - hmmm, maybe healthy potato chips or chocolate bars too.

I agree that the Whole Foods kids PB was by far the best jar of PB. Can I suggest a chunky PB tasting (my favorite) next time? Or a hummus recipe tasting?
