About me
Ok, Ok, so you’ve laid witness to my cooking, writing, photography, and blogging skills. But now you want to know more. Other skills include:
Wild Animal Tamer: Taught cats to sit and fetch. Cats prefer to live in Chicago with their less demanding owner.
Certified ILW Champ: Long-running Indian Leg Wrestling Champ amongst a large family of semi-domesticated barbarians. Greatest conquests include: A medalled Big 10 miler from my alma mater and my ultra-competitive big sister.
Improviser, Scavenger, and Jimmy-Rigger, and Scavenger: Need a skirt? Heck, just cut the bottom off that pillowcase and sew it up with a little dental floss. How about that black plastic bag from the bodega - don’t throw it away, it makes a great swanky dress for your sister!
Reader: Avid reader on just about any subject and a Gold Crown bearing ‘moderator’ of the rockin’ Brooklyn Book Club.
Runner and Swimmer: Can run on land and swim in the water. Not vice versa. Well, I can, but it looks ridiculous.
Day Job Holder: Worker of many wonderful hours in the most wonderful setting in the world. I’m the Special Events Coordinator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. I plan parties. For a living. It’s great.
I currently reside in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, without cats but with my sister two sisters: the apprenticing L’il Sis and my critical accomplice, The Sistaster.
